Wrestlers Protest: The Kisan Union is conducting a mahapanchayat on Thursday in support of the wrestlers demanding the arrest of the President of the Wrestling Federation of India and BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. Tikait faction of Kisan Union has called a mahapanchayat in Muzaffarnagar today. In this mahapanchayat, further strategy will be discussed to get justice to the wrestlers. Bharatiya Kisan Union president Naresh Tikait has claimed that the leaders of the nearby khap panchayats will participate in the mahapanchayat. Naresh Tikait has already given 5 days ultimatum to the central government.

'Probe will be completed soon'

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has also given an important statement regarding the investigation of the case. Wrestlers are angry that the Delhi Police has not taken any action against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh till now. It is being said that Delhi Police will complete its investigation in the next 15 days, only after that it will be decided whether charge sheet will be filed or FAR i.e. closure report. Kapil Sibal has raised questions on the attitude of Delhi Police. Citing the law, Sibal reminded the section of immediate arrest in the POCSO Act and also alleged that there is pressure on the police.
