Myanmar Earthquake: The powerful earthquake that struck Myanmar on Friday has caused massive destruction. Due to this natural disaster, many buildings collapsed and life was affected. Meanwhile, India has sent 15 tonnes of relief material to its neighboring country Myanmar, providing assistance.Indian Air Force provided assistanceThe Indian Air Force (IAF) sent relief material to Myanmar via a C-130J aircraft from Hindon Airbase. This relief package includes tents, sleeping bags, blankets, ready-to-eat food, water purifiers, hygiene kits, solar lamps, generator sets and essential items like paracetamol, antibiotics, syringes, gloves and bandages. This quick move by the Government of India is being appreciated locally and internationally.Panic due to several tremors of earthquakeSeveral tremors of earthquake were felt in Myanmar, which had a widespread impact not only in Myanmar but also in Thailand. According to the National Center for Seismology, after the main earthquake of 7.7 magnitude on Friday, tremors of 6.4 and 4.9 magnitude were also recorded. At 11:56 pm, an aftershock of 4.2 magnitude was also recorded, whose depth was 10 kilometers. The epicenter of this earthquake was near Mandalay city of Myanmar.Effect in Thailand tooThe tremors of this powerful earthquake were also felt in many parts of Thailand. Hundreds of people came out of their homes and offices due to vibrations in high-rise buildings in Bangkok. In the pictures and videos shared on social media, water was seen falling out of the swimming pool, from which the intensity of the earthquake can be gauged.Condolences of PM ModiPrime Minister Narendra Modi expressed deep concern over this earthquake in Myanmar and Thailand. He said through a post on the social media platform 'X', "I am concerned about the situation arising in the wake of the earthquake in Myanmar and Thailand.
