New Year 2025 / Traffic advisory in NCR on New Year celebrations, there will be route diversion here

New Year 2025: On the eve of New Year, special arrangements have been made for large-scale traffic arrangements in Gautam Buddha Nagar district. During this time, there is a possibility of heavy crowd gathering in the major shopping malls and busy markets of the city, keeping this in mind, the traffic police has issued a traffic advisory.

DCP Traffic Lakhan Singh Yadav informed that route diversion will be in force from 3 pm to late night on December 31. To run the traffic smoothly, people will have to travel according to the route, so that they do not face any inconvenience.

Route diversion and traffic system:

Traffic will be controlled around Sector 18, GIP Mall, Garden Galleria, DLF Mall, Center Stage, Modi Mall, Logix Mall, Spectrum Mall, Skywin Mall, Sterling Mall, Gaur Mall, Ansal Mall, Venice Mall and other major markets of Noida. There will be a route diversion system at these places and drivers will not be allowed to park vehicles at other places. If any person violates the rules, the traffic police will take strict action.

Logix City Centre and SkyOne Mall:

If there is heavy traffic in front of Logix Mall, there will be a diversion of traffic from Logix Tiraha towards Sector 31/25 Chowk. Similarly, traffic will be diverted from Hajipur Chowk and Lotus Blue Word Tiraha near SkyOne and Sterling Mall.

Sector 18, Noida:

Traffic changes have also been made around major places located in Sector 18, such as GIP Mall, Garden Galleria, and Metro Station. The route from Nursery Tiraha towards Atta Chowk and Metro Station has been declared a no parking zone. Apart from this, there will be changes in the direction of traffic at many other places in Sector 18.

Traffic system in NCR:

Vehicles going from Ghaziabad to Noida will travel from Chhijarsi or Model Town Sector 62 instead of Shahberi and Taj Highway. At the same time, vehicles going from Greater Noida to Kisan Chowk and Parthala will travel via Bisrakh Hanuman Temple.

In view of the heavy crowd and celebrations on New Year's Eve, Gautam Buddha Nagar Traffic Police has tightened the route diversion and parking arrangements across the district. Citizens have been appealed to follow the prescribed route and not violate the rules, so that everyone can experience smooth travel.
