Maharashtra Assembly Elections: Before the Maharashtra assembly elections, the problems of Shiv Sena MLAs of Uddhav faction may increase. Shiv Sena Chief Whip Bharat Gogavale from Shinde faction has filed a petition in the Bombay High Court. Gogavale has demanded the court to take a quick decision on the matter of disqualifying the MLAs of Uddhav faction.

Petition against MLA who did not follow the whip

Shiv Sena Chief Whip Bharat Gogavale has filed a petition in the High Court demanding the disqualification of UBT MLAs before the upcoming assembly elections. Bharat Gogavale said that we had filed a petition against the MLAs of Uddhav faction who did not follow the whip.

Shiv Sena of Shinde faction is the real one

Shiv Sena MLA Bharat Gogavale of Shinde faction has demanded the Bombay High Court to take a quick decision on this matter in his petition. In the petition, Gogavale said, 'If the Election Commission has handed over the Shiv Sena party and the Dhanush election symbol to Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, then we are the real Shiv Sena. There is no other Shiv Sena.'

If the decision is not taken, the petition will become ineffective

The petition said that the MLAs of the Thackeray faction have not followed our whip. If the decision on disqualification is not taken before the assembly elections, the petition becomes ineffective. Therefore, the High Court should give its verdict on disqualification before the elections.

Demand to disqualify 13 MLAs

Let us tell you that Bharat Gogavale had filed a petition in the Bombay High Court in January 2024 demanding the disqualification of 13 MLAs of the Uddhav faction. At the same time, now the assembly elections are going to be held in the state in the next few months. In such a situation, the Shiv Sena of the Shinde faction wants the court to give its verdict in this matter soon.
