Malik comes from a simple family of Gujjar Nagar in Jammu. Fruit seller Rashid says that his family always supports his son to play cricket. He was interested in cricket since he was three or four years old. We never stopped him from playing cricket. Whatever he needed to play the game, we provided him with everything.
