In Shivpuri district, the police have arrested two accused who carried out the crime of cheating by selling fake coins by showing gold coins. On Tuesday, both the arrested accused were luring a youth to sell gold coins at a cheap price by blocking the way of a youth at the customs gate under Kotwali police station. But when the youth got the coins checked by the goldsmith, the coins were found to be fake, after which the fraud was exposed. On the complaint of the youth, the police arrested both the accused. A case of cheating has been registered against both of them.
According to the information, Tabib Rehman Farooqui (age 42 years) resident of Jawahar Colony was going to his in-laws' house on Tuesday evening. Meanwhile, in front of the customs gate, he found two boys, who stopped him and told him to sell gold coins and urgently need money. Seeing the cheap gold coins, Tabib thought of taking them and settled a deal with both the boys at the rate of 10 thousand rupees per coin. Tabeeb gave 5 thousand rupees in advance and went to collect the rest of the money. Both the youths gave a gold coin to Tabib, for which Tabib reached the place of one of his goldsmith friend Vinod Soni to get it checked. Vinod examined the gold and told that the coin is fake. When Tabeeb reached the custom gate to return the coin, both the boys had left from there, after which when Tabeeb looked for both, both the boys found him standing near Fatehpur Kalari. Tabib immediately informed the police about the matter, after which both the youths were arrested. Both the youths were identified as Harpal son Pappu Jatav age 22 years resident of Gagri police station Leopard and Sunil son Preeti Jatav resident of Kilavani police station Leopard.
