According to the report, he breathed his last on Sunday at his home in Kakkanad, Kerala. Let us tell you that KG George was born in the year 1946 in Pathanamthitta and he completed his diploma from the Indian Film Institute in Pune. KG George started his film career as a director with the film Swapnadanam (1975) and became active as a producer in the early 1970s. In his almost three decade long career, KG has made many films like Swapnadanam, Olakatal, Kolangal, Mela, Erakal, Yavanika, Lekhayude Maranam Oru Flashback, Adaminte Variyelu, Kathakku Pinil, Mattoral, Panchavadi Palam, Ee Kanni Koodi. Also won Kerala State Film Awards for Swapandanam, Adaminte Variyelu and Erakal. He was also honored with the JC Daniel Award in 2016 for his lifetime contribution to Malayalam cinema.
