Avesh Khan has revealed that he (Virat) had praised him for taking the wickets of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Indian team captain Virat Kohli. The 24-year-old bowler played an important role in leading his team to the top of the points table. Apart from Kohli, he also took the wicket of Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

Avesh Khan said, 'When Delhi had a match against Bangalore, I spoke to Kohli. He told me that you bowled well and you have to keep doing this continuously. Avesh became the second bowler to jointly take the highest wicket in IPL 14 along with Chris Morris of Rajasthan Royals.
