There is chaos on the streets of Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. Especially students from India and Pakistan are being targeted in Kyrgyzstan. They are beating them with sticks.

What is the whole controversy and how did it start?

Actually, this whole controversy started with molestation of Egyptian girls. On May 13, Egyptian girl students were molested. After this the Egyptian students clashed with the local students. After this dispute, local students started fighting. Hostels and rooms of foreign students were vandalized. Kyrgyz students attacked students from Pakistan and India.

Claim of death of 4 Pakistani students

There are claims of death of 4 Pakistani students so far in Bishkek. However, the Pakistani Foreign Ministry has not confirmed the news of the death of Pakistani students. But till now there has been no claim from Pakistan about any kind of talks with the students. At the same time, the Ministry of External Affairs of India, while talking to Kyrgyzstan Embassy, has raised the issue related to the security of Indian students and has appealed to the Indian students not to go out at present.
