Bihar News: A serious incident that took place recently in Krishna Nagar village of Nawada district of Bihar has created an atmosphere of terror and panic in the local community. According to the information, a group of miscreants surrounded the Dalit settlement and not only opened fire, but also set fire to several houses. About 80 houses have been damaged in this violent incident.

Reason for the incident

The police said that this incident is related to a land dispute. One party resides there, while the other party has been claiming its right over this land. However, it has been clarified that this land is the property of the Bihar government. This dispute worsened the situation so much that the miscreants entered the settlement without any fear and attacked.

Attack by miscreants

On Wednesday evening, about a hundred miscreants suddenly entered the Dalit settlement and started firing. It is reported that during this time about 50 rounds of firing were done, which created panic in the village. The villagers tried to hide here and there to save their lives. On receiving the information, local officials and later the DM and SP also reached the spot.

Police action

The police took immediate action and arrested 10 people. SP Abhinav Dhiman has confirmed that the investigation of the case is going on and raids are being conducted to arrest the remaining accused. He also said that if the situation does not return to normal, the police force will remain deployed there for a longer time.

Janak Ram, Minister of Scheduled Castes and Tribes Department of Bihar Government, has strongly condemned this incident. He said that this incident is sad and the government will take strict action against such bullies. He also assured that under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, people of weaker sections are safe and any kind of bullying will not be tolerated.
