Vinesh Phogat was disqualified for being 100 grams overweight on the morning of the final against gold medal winner Sarah Ann Hildebrandt, against which this Indian wrestler has appealed. What is Vinesh Phogat's argument?Vinesh Phogat has argued in CAS that her weight was within the prescribed limit till the semi-final victory, so she should get the silver medal. Vinesh's side was presented by well-known senior advocates Harish Salve and Vidushpat Singhania. The Indian Olympic Association has expressed hope that the decision will go in Vinesh's favor in this case. If the decision goes in Vinesh's favor, she can get the silver medal.Aman Sehrawat was in trouble like VineshAman Sehrawat, who won the bronze medal in the 57 kg category wrestling, also gained a lot of weight like Vinesh Phogat. According to reports, Aman's weight had reached 61.5 kg before the bronze medal match. But this player worked hard all night and reduced his weight by more than 4 kg. He trained all night and also took several sessions of cardio and sauna bath, after which he was successful in reducing weight. The big thing is that Aman lost this weight in just 10 hours, which is miraculous in itself.
