Women Premier League: The third season of Women's Premier League (WPL) has been officially announced. This time the tournament will start from February 14 and the final match will be played on March 15 at CCI Stadium in Mumbai. According to the schedule released by BCCI, the matches of the tournament will be held in four major cities of the country.First match: Defending champion vs Gujarat GiantsThe first match of the season will be played between defending champion Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat Giants. This match will take the excitement and competition to the peak right from the beginning of the tournament.Organization of matches: Journey of four citiesVadodara (14-19 February): The first 6 matches of the tournament will be played in Vadodara.Bengaluru (21 February-1 March): 8 matches will be held at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.Lucknow (3-8 March): For the first time, WPL matches will be held at Ekana Stadium in Lucknow, where UP Warriors will play 3 matches as their home team.Mumbai (March 13-15): Eliminator (March 13) and Final (March 15) will be played at CCI.Matches in Lucknow for the first timeWomen's Premier League matches will be held for the first time at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. The UP Warriors team will play three matches at this ground, giving the local audience a chance to support their team on home ground.Eliminator and Final MatchesThe last two big matches of the tournament will be held at the Cricket Club of India (CCI) in Mumbai.
