When this matter caught fire, Dhirendra Krishna Shastri gave an official statement on this matter.

A video of Dhirendra Krishna Shastri was shared on the official X handle of Bageshwar Dham. Releasing this video on Sunday, Dhirendra Shastri clearly said that the allegations made against Shaligram should be fully investigated legally. The law should take legal action on this. Dhirendra Krishna Shastri said that a father has many sons. Everyone has different qualities. We are not happy with this behaviour and conduct of our brother. Our mind is in pain and we are angry. We are with the law. We are not with our brother. The law should investigate strictly.

He said that we have embarked on such a journey of our life in which there is a lot of struggle. If we keep on doing such works, then how will we be able to do the work of Sanatan unity.
