During interrogation, the minor told that he sells the stolen goods to Akshay (25), a resident of Chaman Vihar, Loni. The police also arrested him from Loni. Five laptops, a tablet and a smart watch were recovered from his possession. After interrogating both the police are looking for another accused Mujeeb. Northern District Deputy Commissioner of Police Sagar Singh Kalsi said that since the last few days, incidents of thefts were happening in broad daylight targeting students in Nehru Vihar area of ​​Timarpur and surrounding areas. When the students left for class with the lock of the room, someone was breaking the lock of their room and stealing laptops and other valuables.

Dozens of such incidents had taken place in the area. The police was continuously searching for the accused. While investigating in this episode, the police checked about 70 CCTV cameras. During the investigation, the police came to know that a very young boy was walking with a bag on his shoulder. While examining the same footage, the police reached the house of the accused boy on March 14 and nabbed him. During interrogation, he confessed to theft. The tools used in the theft were also recovered from the accused. After the arrest of the accused, the police claimed to have solved 17 incidents in the area. After questioning the boy, the police nabbed Akshay, the buyer of the goods. The minor told that a person named Mujeeb, a resident of Sabhapur, also used to sell goods. When the police raided his premises, he was found missing. Police are raiding in search of him.
