Bollywood Desk: A new twist comes in the Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case, and it's certain to raise questions on YRF head honcho Aditya Chopra even further. Kangana Ranaut has revealed that her career in Bollywood was threatened by Adi some years ago after she had refused his offer to star opposite Salman Khan in Sultan, a role that was eventually played by Anushka Sharma. Sultan eventually turned out to be one of the highest -grossing and most loved Bollywood movies of all time, but what Kangana has now revealed is certainly going to set tongues wagging and tarnish the film's legacy somewhat, regardless if her allegations are proved or not.

Opening up on the episode in an interview to Republic TV, Kangana Ranaut claimed, "The director came to my house and narrated the script. I had a meeting with Aditya Chopra... just so that I could express my apologies in person and he was fine at the time. But later, a news piece came out saying, 'Kangana said no to Sultan.' And then he messaged me, 'How dare you? You say No to me.' And then he told me, 'You are finished.'

Aditya Chopra is already bearing the brunt of these allegations, having been summoned earlier today by Mumbai police in connections with Sushant Singh Rajput's death, with reports claiming that he was grilled for several hours in an intense interrogation by the cops.

Meanwhile, Mukhesh Chhabra has disclosed in an interview to Pinkvilla that Sushant was aware that Dil Bechara was headed for a direct-digital release, and was even happy with the decision. Dil Bechara, Sushant Singh Rajput's last film, costarring Sajana Sanghi, will release directly on an OTT platform on 24th July 2020, but its access will be available to everyone, even those who aren't subscribers of said OTT platform.
