Fawad Khan: Pakistani actor Fawad Khan has announced his return to Bollywood after eight years. The teaser of his upcoming film 'Abir Gulaal' was released recently, which has created a lot of excitement among his fans. The film will be of romantic comedy genre, in which Bollywood actress Vaani Kapoor is playing the lead role with him. The film will be directed by Aarti S Bagri, while it is being produced by Vivek Aggarwal, Avantika Hari and Rakesh Sippy.The shooting of the film started on 29 September 2024 in London and it was shot at various locations in the UK during October-November. The makers recently released the teaser of the film, in which Fawad Khan is seen showing his singing talent in front of Vaani Kapoor in a car stuck in traffic amid London rain.A glimpse was revealed earlierEarlier, the makers had shared a picture during the announcement of the film, in which Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor were seen together. At the end of the teaser, Vaani asks Fawad if he is flirting with her, to which Fawad replies, 'Do you want me to do this?' The audience is liking this dialogue a lot.Many well-known Indian and British actors will be seen in supporting roles in the film. A leading Bollywood composer has already composed six original songs for the film, which have been sung by famous Bollywood singers. However, their names have not been revealed yet.There was a controversy over this filmThere was a lot of controversy over Fawad Khan's previous film 'The Legend of Maula Jatt'. The film was scheduled to release on October 2, but it could not be released due to protests in many cities. Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) president Raj Thackeray opposed the release of the film and demanded a ban on films of Pakistani artists in Maharashtra.Fawad Khan was last seen in Ranbir Kapoor starrer 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' in 2016. Earlier, he has worked in hit films like 'Kapoor & Sons' (2016) and 'Khoobsurat' (2014). Now, after a long gap of eight years, Fawad is once again ready for his grand comeback in Bollywood.
