Jaipur Accident / Car and trailer collide in Jaipur, five people going to Khatu Shyam die

Five members of a family died in a collision between a car and a trailer on Jaipur's Manoharpur-Dausa National Highway. Two women and a child were also involved in the accident. All of them were going to visit Khatu Shyam. The collision was so severe that the trailer overturned.

Jaipur Accident: A heartbreaking road accident took place in Jaipur, Rajasthan on Sunday morning, in which five members of the same family died tragically. The accident took place on the Manoharpur-Dausa National Highway, when a car going to visit Khatu Shyamji collided with a speeding trailer. The collision was so severe that the car was shattered and the trailer also came off the road and overturned.

A 12-month-old innocent is also among the dead

The people who lost their lives in the accident include two men, two women and a 12-month-old innocent child. All the deceased are said to be residents of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. They had gone on a religious journey in their private vehicle. The vehicle which was found damaged at the spot had a Uttar Pradesh number plate.

Eyewitnesses described the horrific scene

According to eyewitnesses, there was chaos at the spot after the collision. The front part of the car was completely shattered, and all the bodies were trapped inside. Police and local people had to work hard to take out the bodies. At the same time, due to the overturning of the trailer, there was a long jam on the highway, which also affected the traffic.

Speed or overtaking caused the accident?

Raiser police station officer Raghuveer Singh informed that this accident happened near Nekawala toll plaza at around 8 am on Sunday. According to preliminary investigation, the cause of the accident could be an attempt to overtake or high speed. However, the investigation of the exact cause of the accident is still going on.

The journey became the last journey

The family was going to visit Khatu Shyamji, but this journey became the last journey of their life. This accident once again raises questions on negligence towards road safety and ignorance of traffic rules.

The administration has appealed to all the drivers to follow the prescribed speed limit on the National Highway, be careful and avoid risky attempts like overtaking, so that such painful incidents can be prevented in future.
