Lok Sabha Elections / Afzal Ansari will contest elections from Ghazipur - SP released new list

Lok Sabha Elections: Samajwadi Party has released another list for the Lok Sabha elections on Monday. Names of 11 candidates have been included in the second list of SP. Mukhtar Ansari's brother Afzal Ansari has been fielded from Ghazipur seat and Shreya Verma, granddaughter of former Union Minister Beni Prasad Verma, has been fielded from Gonda seat. So far, names of candidates have been announced for 27 seats.

The party has decided its candidates from Muzaffarnagar, Amla, Shahjahanpur, Hardoi, Misrikh, Mohanlalganj, Pratapgarh, Bahraich, Gonda, Ghazipur and Chandauli parliamentary seats. Harendra Malik from Muzaffarnagar seat, Neeraj Maurya from Amla, Rajesh Kashyap from Shahjahanpur and Usha Verma from Hardoi have been given tickets.

Ticket to Beni Prasad Verma's granddaughter also

RK Chaudhary has been fielded from Mohanlalganj seat, Rampal Rajvanshi from Misrikh, Dr. SP Singh Patel from Pratapgarh, Ramesh Gautam from Bahraich, Virendra Singh from Chandauli and Shreya Verma from Gonda. Shreya Verma is the granddaughter of former Union Minister Beni Prasad Verma.

On the ongoing talks with Congress regarding seat sharing, Akhilesh Yadav said on Monday that talks are going on now, the list has come from here as well as from here, when the seats will be distributed, Samajwadi Party Congress' Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra. Will join. He said that his party will not participate in the Nyaya Yatra until the seat sharing with Congress is finalised.

Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra led by Rahul Gandhi will pass through Amethi today after which it will enter Rae Bareli tomorrow. Akhilesh Yadav had earlier said that he would join the Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra in Rae Bareli, but now he says that he would join the yatra only after the issue of seat sharing is resolved.

Dimple Yadav's name in the first list

Amidst the ongoing talks with Congress regarding seat sharing in Uttar Pradesh, Samajwadi Party is continuously announcing the names of candidates. The Akhilesh Yadav-led party had earlier released its first list of candidates on January 30 last month, which included the names of 16 candidates. In this list, Akhilesh's wife Dimple Yadav was given ticket from Mainpuri.

Apart from these, senior leader Shafiqur Rehman Burke has been made the candidate from Sambhal seat and Ravidas Mehrotra, MLA from Lucknow Central seat, has been made the candidate from Lucknow Lok Sabha seat. Ram Gopal Yadav's son Akshay Yadav was made the candidate from Firozabad seat and Dharmendra Yadav from Badaun parliamentary seat.
