Recommendation to dissolve the Council of Ministers

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met the President today and submitted his resignation along with the Council of Ministers. The President has accepted the resignation and requested Narendra Modi and the Council of Ministers to remain in office till the new government takes charge.

How many seats does NDA have?

After the Lok Sabha election results, the NDA alliance has won a total of 293 seats while the majority figure is 272. Many other parties including alliance members JDU chief Nitish Kumar and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu have clearly announced their support to the BJP.
