Haryana / Angry with love marriage, father called daughter home on the pretext of birthday, murdered after kidnapping

A shocking case of murder has come to light from Sonipat, Haryana. Where the father got so angry with his daughter's love marriage that he put the daughter to death and threw the body in Gangnahar near Meerut. After hard efforts, the police arrested the accused and sent him to jail.

This case is of village Mukimpur under Rai police station area. Before death, a video of the girl surfaced, in which she said that if she dies, her father, brother and her friends will be responsible for it.

The police has arrested the girl's father in this case. Now the police has started searching for the dead body from Ganganahar on his behest. The girl's husband had filed a kidnapping report against four people including her father Vijaypal and relatives. In which he said that he had called both on the pretext of celebrating his birthday and he stood some distance away. After this his wife was kidnapped from in front of the police station.

The girl, a resident of Mukimpur village, had a love marriage with a boy living in the neighborhood in the year 2020. Both of them got married after running away from home against their families. The house of both is nearby in the village and both have the same gotra. Apart from the girl's family, there was resentment among the people of Antil Khap. After marriage, both were living in hiding somewhere.

The family of the girl who was upset with the marriage lied to both of them that now they have agreed to this marriage and asked both of them to come back home, forgetting the old things. Then both cautiously started talking to the family on the phone.

The girl's father, Vijaypal, called the daughter on July 6 and said that July 7 is her birthday. You both come home to celebrate your birthday. Everyone will eat sweets together and forget the old things and start a new one, children make mistakes in their ignorance.

Both came to Vijaypal's words and cautiously informed the father on the phone that he was standing in front of Rai police station. Vijaypal came in the car with the named accused and took his daughter Kanika away on the afternoon of July 6. At that time, the girl's husband Vedprakash was watching everything standing far away from her eyes.

After two days, the girl's husband, Vedprakash, called his father-in-law and asked him to talk to the wife, to which he got a reply that she is still sleeping. When she called again the next day, she was told that she had just gone with her aunt. Called again after two days, then Vijaypal said that the daughter has gone to her aunt's house. Vedprakash got some doubt on this and he informed it in the police station.

It is alleged that even after registering a complaint in the police station, the police did not take any action soon. After this, on July 20, Vedprakash again goes to the police station and reveals the suspicion of his wife's murder and kidnapping to the police. On this the police starts the investigation again

On the basis of the complaint, the police strictly interrogate the girl's father, confessing his crime, the accused father tells that on July 6, he took the daughter from the front of the police station and killed the daughter and threw the body in Gangnahar near Meerut. He did not bring her to the village. Apart from this, the accused father told that he has no remorse for his actions. Because the people responsible of Antil Khap are also condemning marriage in the same gotra.
