Ankita, who suffered 90 per cent burns, had said in her statement before the magistrate that Shahrukh had called her and threatened to kill her if she did not speak. A few days ago, when she was sleeping in her house, Shahrukh put petrol on her and set her on fire. After carrying out this incident, Shahrukh had absconded.Ankita was admitted to RIMS in Ranchi in critical condition. Ankita died after fighting for life for about 5 days.
