New Delhi : Booking of appointments is starting from today i.e. Saturday for the preparation dose of Corona vaccine starting from January 10. The Center also made it clear that those taking the precautionary dose need not register separately through the Kovin portal or app.

The facility of onsite appointment will start from January 10 along with vaccination.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced on 25 December that the central government would introduce a precautionary dose of the Kovid vaccine amid the rapid spread of the Omicron variant. The Central Government has already issued a notification to the States and Union Territories in this regard that the booster dose will not be different from both the doses of the first vaccine.

Meanwhile, the country has also achieved the achievement of giving more than 150 crore doses of Kovid vaccine so far.
