After these frightening figures, the central government has come into alert mode. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has called a meeting of State Health Ministers on Friday.

The meeting convened by the Union Health Minister will be held through video conferencing. Health ministers of all the states will participate in this meeting. The preparations of the states will be reviewed in this meeting. According to the data of the Ministry of Health, there are currently 25,587 active cases of corona in the country. On the other hand, a professor of IIT Kanpur has claimed that if it continues like this, then in the coming months, 15 to 20 thousand cases of corona will come to the fore every day.

5,335 new cases surfaced in a day

Let us tell you that after the arrival of 5,335 new cases of corona virus infection in the country in one day, the number of people infected so far in the country has increased to 4,47,39,054. These are the highest number of daily cases reported in the last 195 days. At the same time, the number of active patients has increased to 25,587. On September 23 last year, 5,383 daily cases of infection were reported in the country.

The number of dead increased to 5,30,929

According to the updated data released by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am on Thursday, the death toll in the country increased to 5,30,929 after the death of two patients each in Karnataka and Maharashtra and one each in Kerala and Punjab due to infection. At the same time, Kerala has added seven more names to the list of patients who lost their lives due to the global pandemic while re-reconciling the death toll from the infection.
