ICC T20 Rankings: Pakistan captain Babar Azam retained the top spot in the International Cricket Council's (ICC) T20 batting list, surpassing India's Virat Kohli to become the longest-serving batsman in the T20 International World Rankings for the longest time. Kohli was the world's number one T20 International batsman for 1,013 days in the last decade but Babar has left him behind.These Indian players had funAmong other batsmen, India's Ishan Kishan has lost two places but Deepak Hooda and Sanju Samson have jumped the rankings thanks to their impressive performances in the second and final T20 International against Ireland. Left-handed batsman Kishan, who scored 26 and three runs in two T20Is against Ireland, has slipped to 7th place. Hooda, who scored 47 in the first match and first century of his career in the second match, led India to a four-run victory, with a huge jump of 414 runs to reach 104th place. Samson, who scored 77 runs in the second T20, has also reached 144th position.Rankings released after India-Ireland seriesIreland's Harry Tector, who scored 39 and 64 not out against India, also moved up 55 places to 66th position. The ranking has been updated after the two T20 series between India and Ireland.
