Both the openers of RCB returned to the pavilion

Chasing the target, Devdutt Padikkal and Virat Kohli added 48 runs for the first wicket. This partnership was broken by Mustafizur Rahman by dismissing Padikkal (22). In the next over itself, Captain Kohli (25) also returned to the pavilion after being run out.

RR's innings falter after a good start

Mohammad Siraj got the first success for RCB by dismissing Yashasvi Jaiswal (31). Jaiswal and Evin Lewis added 77 runs in 50 balls for the first wicket. George Garten, making his IPL debut, got the second blow to RR by dismissing Evin Lewis (58), who was batting brilliantly. This was Lewis' third in the IPL and the first fifty for RR.

3 wickets in 7 balls

Yuzvendra Chahal dismissed Mahipal Lomror (3) to give RCB their fourth breakthrough. The team had not yet recovered from this setback that after 3 balls, Shahbaz Ahmed first broke the back of RR by sending Sanju Samson (19) and then Rahul Teotia (2) to the pavilion. The Royals took these three big wickets in just 7 balls. Apart from these, Liam Livingstone (6) and Riyan Parag (9) returned to the pavilion.

Harshal's magic again

The magic of Harshal Patel, who took a hat-trick against Mumbai, was once again seen. He took 3 wickets in the last over of RR's innings. Patel dismissed Riyan Parag (9) and Chris Morris (14) in two successive deliveries. It looked like he would be able to take a hat-trick once again, but it did not happen. Harshal may not have completed the hat-trick, but on the last ball of the over, he also showed the way to the dressing room by dismissing Chetan Sakaria (2).

Harshal created history

Harshal Patel has so far taken 26 wickets in 11 matches in IPL 14. This is the highest number of wickets taken by any Indian bowler in an IPL season.

1-1 change in both teams

RCB included George Garten in place of Kyle Jaminson and Karthik Tyagi in place of Jaydev Unadkat by RR in the playing XI.

Rajasthan will also have to pay attention to net runs

Rajasthan currently have 8 points from 10 matches. The net run rate of the team is -0.369. Fifth-placed Mumbai Indians have 10 points and their net run rate is -0.453. In this sense, in the event of a win, Rajasthan's team will move ahead in the points table, but Kolkata Knight Riders, another team running on 10 points, is ahead in this matter. KKR has a net run rate of +0.363. After league matches, it is possible for some teams to have the same number of points. In such a situation, improving the run rate is very important for Rajasthan.

Virat's good form made Bangalore's work easier

The RCB team seems to be returning to the rhythm. Captain Virat Kohli has scored two consecutive half-centuries. His good batting makes the job easier for the middle order. Apart from Virat, Glenn Maxwell also played a strong innings in the last match. His switch hit is also proving to be effective. However, the team will definitely expect an impressive innings from AB de Villiers. In this leg, AB has scored 0, 12 and 11 runs in three matches.

Maxwell's 7 thousand runs

With 25 runs in the match, Glenn Maxwell completed his 7000 runs in T20 cricket.
