The 10-day Red Fort Festival – Bharat Bhagya Vidhata, showcasing the history, art, heritage, culture and cuisine of India at the iconic 17th century monument Red Fort in Delhi, is going to begin on Friday, March 25. Union Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani will inaugurate the program.

This program is being organized under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav being celebrated by the Central Government to commemorate the completion of 75 years of the country's independence. The event will be jointly organized by the Union Ministry of Culture and Dalmia Bharat Group. The Dalmia Group has adopted the Red Fort as its memorial friend.

Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav was launched last year by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to celebrate a progressive independent India, its rich cultural heritage and its achievements.
