Delhi Cag Report: Today is going to be a very important day for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the Delhi Assembly. The second CAG report on the tenure of former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will be presented, in which irregularities in health facilities are likely to be revealed. Earlier in the first report, the BJP had surrounded the Kejriwal government over the Delhi liquor policy scam. This report was sent to the Public Accounts Committee (PAC). Today's report will focus on the condition of Mohalla clinics and government hospitals in Delhi.

Irregularities in the health department revealed

According to sources, the CAG draft report has revealed many shocking flaws related to Delhi's health infrastructure:

Thermometers were not found in 18 Mohalla clinics.

X-ray viewers were found lacking in 45 clinics.

21 clinics did not have pulse oximeters.

Weighing machines were not available in 12 clinics.

Toilets were not available in 21 Mohalla clinics.

Rs 245 crore of Kovid fund was not spent.

₹2,623 crore allocated for health infrastructure lapsed.

PAC has been directed to submit its detailed review on this report within three months.

AAP MLAs to meet President

Meanwhile, 21 expelled Aam Aadmi Party MLAs on Thursday protested outside the Vidhan Sabha gate along with former minister Atishi. Today, AAP MLAs are going to meet the President and lodge their complaint.

Chances of uproar in the assembly session

The second CAG report will be presented in the assembly session starting at 2 pm today, which is likely to reveal irregularities related to the health department. Apart from this, 14 pending CAG reports of the Delhi government's tenure will be presented in the House.

Orders to investigate CCTV camera scam

PWD Minister Pravesh Verma has ordered an inquiry into the irregularities in installing CCTV cameras in the assembly. It is alleged that the Aam Aadmi Party government deliberately did not install CCTV cameras in the areas of BJP MLAs.

Controversy over name change

Meanwhile, two BJP MLAs have demanded to change the name of their area:

A proposal has been made to change the name of Najafgarh to Nahargarh.

A demand has been made to rename Mohammadpur village of RK Puram area as Madhavpur.

Earlier, MLA Mohan Singh Bisht had demanded to change the name of Mustafabad to Shivpuri or Shiv Vihar.

Reaction of villagers

Political stir has intensified regarding changing the names of villages of Delhi. Residents of Mohammadpur village have supported the MLA's proposal and justified the name Madhavpur.
