66th National Film Award / Big B will be honored with Dadasaheb Phalke Award, But won't be able to attend the ceremony

Amitabh Bachchan is not going to attend the 66th National Awards ceremony to be held in Delhi on Monday. He is to receive the Dadasaheb Phalke Award this year. Big B told in a tweet that because of fever, the doctor has asked not to travel. Apart from Amitabh, Shri Ram Raghavan directed 'Andhadhun' will get the award for Best Hindi Film. Vicky Kaushal will be given the Best Actor Award for 'Uri'.

Telugu actress Kirti Suresh will receive the best actress award for the film 'Mahanati'. The awards were announced in August 2019 by Rahul Rawail, chairman of the National Cinema Awards jury.
