In this exchange of fire, one terrorist was injured while 2 others could not go back and were caught by the army personnel.

3 to 4 terrorists tried to infiltrate

According to reports, this infiltration attempt by terrorists was foiled near Chetan post in Khari sector of Poonch district. On Tuesday late night, 3 to 4 terrorists tried to infiltrate from the LoC side. At around 1:30 am late night, when the soldiers tried to stop them after seeing suspicious activity on the LoC, firing started from the other side. Some terrorists were shot in retaliatory firing. After this, the jawans caught a total of 3 terrorists including an injured terrorist from the spot.

Huge quantity of weapons recovered from the terrorists

According to reports, the names of the three suspected terrorists caught are Mohammad Riaz, Mohammad Farooq and Mohammad Zubair. Out of this, a suspect named Farooq is injured. Weapons have been recovered from these people. They have recovered one AK47 gun, one magazine, 10 rounds of AK47, 2 pistols, 4 magazines of pistol, 70 rounds of pistol, 6 grenades, 20 packets of heroin like substance and a suspected 10 kg IED, which has been defused. Seized weapons include IED and Narco. An Indian soldier has also been injured in the firing and is undergoing treatment.
