Delhi / BJP leader Jitu Chaudhary shot dead outside the house, police fears property dispute

BJP district minister Jitu Chaudhary was shot dead by unidentified miscreants. The miscreants carried out the incident when Jitu Chaudhary (40) was coming out of his residence in Mayur Vihar Phase 3. It has been told that the postmortem will be done today and after the report comes, the body will be handed over to the relatives.

It has been learned that two bike-borne assailants fired five bullets at him outside the house. A bullet hit his head. The injured Jeetu was taken to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead. After preliminary investigation, the police have expressed apprehension of property dispute. The police are trying to identify the attackers by scanning the footage of CCTV cameras installed around the house.

District Deputy Commissioner of Police Priyanka Kashyap said that the incident took place at 8.15 pm on Wednesday night. Originally a resident of village Bali, Baghpat UP, Jeetu lived in Mayur Vihar Phase III Pocket C One with his wife and two sons aged fifteen and eleven. Two brothers and other family members also live together in the family. He had a construction business. He was the General Secretary in the district organization of BJP.

He was present at the house around 8.15 pm on Wednesday night. During this, two attackers came from the bike and called them out of the house for a conversation. After talking for some time, the attackers opened fire on them. Five shots were fired at him, one in the head and the other in the stomach. After carrying out the incident, both the accused fled from the spot. Hearing the sound of gunshots, nearby people rushed to the spot and took him to a private hospital in Noida where doctors declared him brought dead.

After getting information about the incident, top police officers reached the spot. During the investigation, the police found several kiosks from the spot. Police officials say that in the initial investigation, the matter of property dispute has come to the fore. Police is investigating all aspects by registering a case of murder.

Regarding the accident, Manoj Kumar of BJP said that Jitu's murder is sad. Delhi BJP chief Adesh Gupta had also come here (hospital). After being MLC, the body will be shifted. Will be PM in the morning. After that the body will be handed over to the relatives.
