BJP leader Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga's statement could not be recorded in the court on Monday as he was not present in Delhi. Delhi Police has said that it will apply to the court to record Bagga's statement on his return. Earlier, Bagga's lawyer appeared in the court of Metropolitan Magistrate Nikita Kapoor.

Bagga's lawyers Sanket Gupta and YP Singh told the court that two mobile phones were snatched from Bagga's house by unidentified persons on Friday morning. One of them is of Bagga himself and the other is of his father. In this regard, the lawyers also talked about applying in the court. Also told the court that such an incident could happen again with his client. The court should direct the Delhi Police to provide security to Bagga and his family.

After hearing the arguments of the lawyers, the court said that both of them should file an appropriate application in the court regarding relief. Both the lawyers agreed to this.
