Maharashtra Election 2024 / BJP's manifesto released in Maharashtra, focus on farmers, women and youth

Union Home Minister Amit Shah released the BJP's manifesto for the Maharashtra assembly elections, which focused on farmers, women and youth. Shah called it a Sankalp Patra of Maharashtra's aspirations. The BJP made many promises like waiving farmers' loans, 25 lakh jobs and many others.

Maharashtra Election 2024: Union Home Minister Amit Shah has released the BJP's manifesto for the Maharashtra Assembly elections, in which the party has announced special schemes for the farmers, women and youth of the state. Releasing the Sankalp Patra, Amit Shah described it as "Sankalp Patra of Maharashtra's aspirations" and said that this letter is in the direction of the development of the state, respect for farmers and welfare of the poor. In this manifesto, the self-respect of women and the future of the youth have been given prominence.

Important promises for farmers

The BJP's Sankalp Patra promises many important schemes for farmers. The party has announced to waive the loans of the farmers of the state, as well as talk of implementing special schemes for soybean producers. Apart from this, many measures have been proposed to improve the respect of farmers and their lifestyle. Amit Shah said that every possible help will be given to the farmers when the BJP government comes in Maharashtra.

Schemes for women and youth

The self-respect of women has also been given a prominent place in this manifesto. Under the Ladli scheme, women have been promised Rs 2100 per month. Apart from this, 25,000 women police personnel will be recruited. 25 lakh jobs have been promised in the state to provide employment opportunities to the youth. Shah also said that the first AI (Artificial Intelligence) University will be opened in Maharashtra, so that the youth will not only complete their education in the field of new technology, but they will also get better job opportunities.

Increase in old age pension

In the budget announcement, there has also been talk of giving big relief to the elderly. The pension will be increased from Rs 1500 to Rs 2100, which will help the elderly to improve their lifestyle.

Other major promises

Farmers' loans will be waived.

25 lakh youth will get employment.

Students will be given assistance of Rs 10,000 per month.

Up to 30 percent discount will be given in electricity bills.

A network of roads will be developed in 45 thousand villages.

Asha workers will get Rs 15,000 per month.

Under Shetkari Samman, farmers will be given assistance of Rs 15,000 per month.

Attack on MVA schemes

Amit Shah on this occasion termed the schemes of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) as "appeasement schemes" and "hollow announcements". He said that in 2019, the mandate of Maharashtra was for Mahayuti, but in the greed for power, the MVA insulted that mandate. He also said that the "fabricated issues" of the Aghadi will not work now. Shah claimed that when the BJP government was formed, they always fulfilled their promises, as in the case of removal of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, implementation of Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and introduction of Uniform Civil Code (UCC).

BJP's roadmap

BJP Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis described the Sankalp Patra as a roadmap for Maharashtra's development and said that this document has been prepared to give a new direction to the state's future. He has promised to waive farmers' loans and provide employment to 25 lakh youth.

BJP's future in Maharashtra

Amit Shah appealed to the people of the state to support the BJP's Sankalp Patra and said that under the leadership of BJP, Maharashtra will touch new heights of development. In this manifesto, the party has proposed many measures for the social and economic development of the state, which will benefit the people of the state.

The promises made in the BJP's Sankalp Patra are aimed not only at improving the lives of the farmers, women and youth of the state, but also towards making Maharashtra a prosperous and developed state. After the voting on November 20, after the results on November 23, it will be clear whether the people of Maharashtra accept this roadmap of BJP or not.
