Bollywood | Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer 'Brahmastra' received mixed reviews from critics. The boycott trend was also faced on social media but leaving all these things behind, the film set flags at the box office. 'Brahmastra' has entered its second week of release. In between, there was a slight drop in its earnings on Thursday, but as soon as Friday came, once again the film gained momentum. A lot of expectations were raised from the film over the weekend, on which it seems to be living up to the mark.

how much was the collection

The film directed by Ayan Mukerji did a business of 173.22 crores in a week. On Friday, the eighth day, it earned 10.60 crores. According to the report of the website Sacnlik, the film has earned a bumper of 15.50 crores on the ninth day on Saturday. However, these are preliminary figures and there may be slight variations. The film has so far collected a total of 199.32 crores.

All eyes on 250 crore club

The film will definitely get the benefit of Sunday's holiday. It is just a few blocks away from 200 crores. It has to be seen how long it can cross the 250 crore mark. Talking about the two big hits of this year, 'Bhool Bhulaiya 2' had a lifetime collection of 266 crores while Vivek Agnihotri's film 'The Kashmir Files' had a lifetime collection of around 252 crores. If 'Brahmastra' maintains the same momentum, then soon it will overtake both these films and become the biggest Bollywood film of the year.

movie cast

'Brahmastra' was released in cinemas on 16 September. Apart from Ranbir-Alia, the film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy in lead roles. Shahrukh Khan did a cameo. The director of the film is Ayan Mukerji.
