Haryana / BSF jawan killed in domestic violence in Jind

In Jind, Haryana, a Border Security Force (BSF) jawan has been allegedly killed by his wife and maternal uncle by snatching a sharp object into the house due to domestic strife. Police said that on the complaint of the father of the deceased jawan, a case of murder has been registered against 4 people including his wife and brother-in-law.

Jind: BSF jawan’s wife, brother-in-law and some others allegedly killed him by snatching him in Surabura village of Jind district in Haryana. The jawan came home on March 28 on a month’s leave.

Police of Uchana police station have registered a case of murder against four people, including his wife and brother-in-law, on the complaint of the father of deceased BSF jawan Sandeep (34) and is investigating the case.

Police said Sandeep was working in the Border Security Force (BFS) and was stationed in Manipur.

Ravindra, in-charge of Uchana police station, said that there was a ruckus between the couple on Monday night, after which his wife called his brother and others from his maternal uncle.

They said that Sandeep was allegedly killed by the woman and her maternal uncle by snatching them.

Ravindra said that raids are being conducted to nab the accused.
