In Lasbela, Balochistan, 39 passengers were killed and many others were injured when a vehicle full of passengers fell into a ditch. According to Pakistani officials, the accident happened on Sunday morning. Confirming the incident, Lasbela's Assistant Commissioner Hamza Anjum said that the vehicle carrying around 48 passengers was going from Quetta to Karachi.

The vehicle met with an accident while taking a U-turn

According to the information, the vehicle hit the pole of the bridge while taking a U-turn near Lasbela due to high speed. After this the car fell into the ditch. According to officials, the vehicle caught fire after it fell into a ditch.

Anjum said that three people, including a child and a woman, have been rescued alive. He also feared that the number of casualties would increase. Meanwhile, Saad Edhi of Edhi Foundation said that 17 bodies have been recovered so far from the accident site and have been taken to the hospital.
