9 people were killed and 40 others injured in two separate road accidents in the Badalpur police station area of ​​Jaunpur district of Uttar Pradesh. In one accident, a truck hit a Sumo, while in the other, a passenger bus and a trailer collided.

First accident: Truck hits Sumo

A speeding truck hit a Sumo vehicle in Badlapur police station area. A total of eight people, including a child, a man and three women, were riding in this Sumo. The accident was so horrific that five people died on the spot, while three others were seriously injured. The injured are being treated in the hospital. It is being told that all the people in the Sumo were residents of Jharkhand and had gone on a religious journey.

Second accident: Bus and trailer collide

The second accident came in a horrific form in the same police station area. A passenger bus and a trailer collided violently here, killing four people and injuring about 40 people. A total of 42 passengers were travelling in the accident bus, of which two men and two women died. 37 passengers were injured in the accident, of which 21 are said to be in critical condition, while 11 passengers have suffered minor injuries. According to preliminary information, the passengers travelling in the bus were residents of Delhi and had gone on a religious journey.

Administration's action and treatment of the injured

As soon as the accident was reported, the local administration and police reached the spot. The injured were rushed to the hospital while speeding up relief and rescue work. Police said that investigation of both the accidents is going on and the causes of the accident are being ascertained.
