It proved fatal for a teenager in Venganur in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. A 12-year-old teenager, who was straightening his hair by spraying kerosene on his head, died. Police gave this information on Wednesday.

Police said that the deceased's name is Shivnarayan. He studied in the seventh grade. On Tuesday, he allegedly sprinkled kerosene on his hair and tried to straighten them with a match stick.

Actually, videos of people using fire to straighten hair have gone viral on social media. Police said that Shivnarayan was addicted to social media. He was rushed to the hospital after the incident, where he died. It was told that only her grandmother was present at the house at the time of the incident.
