COVID-19 India | There is a continuous relief from the second wave of corona in the country. 1.32 lakh new cases have been registered in the last 24 hours on June 2, while 2,31,456 people have recovered in the same period. However, this figure is slightly higher than Tuesday because only 1.27 lakh new cases were found then. If we compare the figures, about twice as many people have recovered as compared to new cases. The number of active cases has come down by 1,01,875 in the last one day. With this, the active cases of corona in the country have come down from 18 lakhs to the level of 17,93,645. So far, 2,61,79,085 people have recovered from Corona in the country. This is the first time after 54 days, when so few new cases have been registered in a day. With this, the 20th consecutive day has passed, when the number of new cases has been less than the people recovering. The recovery rate in the country has increased to 92.48%, while the weekly positivity rate is now 8.21%. Talking about the daily positivity rate, it has remained only 6.57 percent. For 9 consecutive days, this figure has remained less than 10 percent. Meanwhile, 21.85 crore vaccines have been administered in the country so far. Apart from this, more than 35 crore corona testing has been done. Due to vaccine, testing and tracing, there has been a rapid decrease in corona cases in the last few days. Apart from this, the situation has also improved due to restrictions in all the states. In the last 24 hours, 3,207 people have died due to corona. With this, the death toll from Corona in the country has risen to 335,102 so far. For the last 4 weeks, there has been a steady decrease in new cases of corona in the country. On Tuesday, after a long gap of two months, 1.27 lakh new cases were found and the death toll had also come down to 2,795, coming down from 3 thousand. But a slight increase on Wednesday has also indicated that even though the corona wave has slowed, it cannot be careless about it.
