Apart from these, Glenn Maxwell played an innings of 55 runs, due to which RCB scored 189 runs for five wickets despite the top order faltering. Du Plessis said, 'It was difficult to bat in the beginning but the way Maxwell put the pressure back on him was important. But it required a special innings to reach 190 and the credit goes to the two players Shahbaz and Dinesh Karthik. Delhi Capitals could only manage 173 for 7 while chasing 190 runs despite David Warner's 66 runs. .
