Britain Election: During his election campaign on Tuesday, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak urged voters to 'not do anything' that they would regret. Sunak also warned his supporters about the huge majority the opposition Labour Party is getting in the surveys. Voting is to be held in Britain on Thursday and in all the opinion polls so far, the opposition Labour Party is expected to get a huge majority compared to Sunak's Conservative Party. Seeing the Labour Party getting a majority in all these pre-election opinion polls, the Conservative Party led by Sunak seems to be upset.

Leaders of both parties put in their full strength

During his election campaign, Sunak is warning voters against the 'unbridled party' led by Sir Keir Starmer. The leaders of both the main parties have put in their full strength in the last days of the election campaign and are trying their best to contact the voters. The leaders of both the parties want to get the voters on their side. Sunak said in a post on the social media platform 'X', 'Once you make this decision on Thursday, you will not be able to back out. Do not do anything that you will regret.' Sunak said in his post that the Labor Party-led government will increase taxes for all the people in the country.

The Conservative Party had a spectacular victory in 2019

Let us tell you that in the last general elections held on 12 December 2019, the Conservative Party led by Boris Johnson performed brilliantly and won 365 out of 650 seats. Boris Johnson was the Prime Minister till September 2022 but later he had to resign due to being embroiled in controversies. After Boris, Liz Truss took charge of the government but her tenure lasted only one and a half months. Rishi Sunak has been the Prime Minister of the country since 25 October 2022 and he is the first black and Indian-origin person to reach this position. Sunak's chances of winning in the current elections are being considered very low, but he is fighting the elections with all his might.
