Farmers Movement: Delhi is once again going to be the center of farmers' protest. Thousands of farmers are going to march towards Delhi with their various demands. This demonstration is being organized under the banner of Samyukta Kisan Morcha, in which more than 50 thousand farmers from more than 10 farmers' organizations will participate. The purpose of this march is to surround the Parliament.Preparations of Delhi Police and Gautam Buddha Nagar PoliceDelhi and Gautam Buddha Nagar Police have become alert on the information of the farmers' march. Checking of vehicles has been started on the Delhi border, and barriers have been put up on the routes from Gautam Buddha Nagar to Delhi. This has created a jam situation at many places.Gautam Buddha Nagar Police has advised drivers to use alternative routes to go to Delhi. The Police Commissioner issued an advisory and said that route diversion will be done if the traffic pressure increases.Restrictions on main routes and alternative routesYamuna Expressway and Noida-Greater Noida Expressway:Movement of heavy vehicles will be completely closed on these routes.Chilla Border and DND Flyover:Vehicles going towards Greater Noida will be diverted from Sector 14A flyover via Golchakkar Chowk.Vehicles going to Delhi from DND Border will use Sector 18 Elevated Road from Film City Flyover.Kalindi Kunj and Mahamaya Flyover:Vehicles going from Greater Noida to Delhi will go via Charkha Roundabout and Kalindi Kunj.Vehicles coming from Delhi to Noida will pass through Mahamaya Flyover and Sector 37.Peripheral Expressway:Vehicles going to Delhi from Peripheral Expressway will be diverted towards Dadri and Dasna instead of Sirsa.Special arrangements for emergency servicesThe police have ensured that the movement of emergency vehicles is not disrupted despite the diversion. Drivers can seek assistance through traffic helpline number 9971009001.Demands of farmers and agenda of the movementThis demonstration being held under the United Kisan Morcha is focused on various demands of the farmers. The protesters will gather near Mahamaya flyover in Noida at 12 noon on Monday and then march towards Delhi.Impact on schoolsDue to the farmers' protest and march towards Delhi, most of the schools in Noida and Ghaziabad have decided to conduct classes online on Monday. Many schools in Delhi-NCR were already running in hybrid mode due to pollution.ConclusionThis protest by farmers is challenging for both the administration and the public.
