This whole matter

This case is of Nagaon district of Assam. In Nagaon police station here, female sub-inspector Jonmani Rabha has arrested her fiancé Rana Pagg. He is accused of marrying by showing fake identity, cheating of lakhs of rupees.


Told himself the officer

Jonmani Rabha told that during Majuli posting she met Rana Pagg in January 2021. The two became friends and came close. Then he (Rana Pagg) had introduced himself as Public Relations Officer in ONGC. During this time he proposed marriage, after which their families met and got engaged in October 2021. The marriage of both was fixed in November, 2022.


Black-spot revealed in the investigation

Jonmani told that he had started doubting the way the pagg worked since January 2022. After this he started investigation and it came to light that Pagg had cheated many people. At the same time, it was found that he is not working in ONGC also. He used to drive an SUV and also had a driver and security personnel with him, which made him look like an officer. The lady police officer said, I am thankful that three people came to me and gave complete information about Rana Pagg. He opened my eyes. He said that an FIR has been registered in this matter. After the arrest of the accused, he is being interrogated.
