According to British media reports, 81-year-old William Bill Shakespeare died on 20 May. He was the first male beneficiary in the world to take the Corona vaccine on 8 December last year. William was vaccinated at the University Hospital Coventry and Warkwickshire last year. William had vaccinated Pfizer-Biontech. William was given the first Pfizer-BioNtech vaccine dose at the same hospital soon after 91-year-old Margaret Keenan, the world's first person to receive a vaccine.

After the death of William, who was a councilor, his wife Joy issued a statement saying that William was very proud to have received the first vaccine. He said in the statement, "Bill was very grateful to be one of the first to receive vaccine worldwide."
