Cricket Desk: India all-rounders Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya lost their father, Himanshu, a couple of days due to a cardiac arrest. It was a shocking news for the family and fraternity as Himanshu was a happy go lucky person and many current and former cricketers paid condolences to the Pandya brothers on social media.Krunal Pandya was with the Baroda team playing in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy when his father passed away and he soon left the bio-bubble to complete his last rites. The family is certainly going through tough times at the moment and will be missing Himanshu’s presence.Rest in peace my King, says Hardik PandyaIn the meantime, the shattered Hardik Pandya came up with an emotional message for his father on Instagram while he also posted a couple of pictures with him. The all-rounder credited all his and Krunal’s success to his father and also added that the house will be bereft of entertaining in his absence. He also went on mention that the whole family is proud of him for the way he lived all his life and also termed his father as King.“To My Daddy and my Hero – To lose you is one of the most difficult things to accept in life but you have left us so many great memories that we can only imagine you smiling! Your sons are standing where they are right now is only because of you, your hard work, your self-belief and you were always happy. This house without you would be less entertaining! We love you and will always do. Your name will always stay on top.“But I know one thing, you are looking after us from above the same way you did here! You were proud of us but daddy we all are proud of the way you lived your life! As I said yesterday to you. One last ride. Now rest in peace, my king. I will miss you every day of my life. Love you daddy!” Hardik Pandya’s message read.Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya is currently away from international cricket after a busy IPL and the Australia tour. He wasn’t part of the Test squad but did well in the ODI and T20I leg of the tour. Krunal was playing SMAT20 before the tragic news arrived and it is not clear yet if he will return to play for Baroda for the rest of the tournament.
