Remaining pain of the crushing defeat in the assembly elections, the Congress leaders are harassing them. Confident of returning to power, Congress leaders are puzzled by the indirect results. Meanwhile, before leaving for Delhi for the Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting, former Chief Minister Harish Rawat looked very emotional.

In his words, he is deeply hurt by the defeat of the Congress in the state. Before going to the meeting, he said that he does not understand how to make eye contact with his national president Sonia Gandhi. Before leaving for Delhi, Harish Rawat shared a post on his Facebook page. In which he appeared very emotional. He wrote that the mere thought of going towards Delhi is making his feet and mind heavy.

To overcome the challenges of the future

How will he look at the face of his national president Sonia? He had put a lot of faith in him for the return of Congress to power in the state. All the top Congressmen of the country also had great faith in him. But he could not do so. Harish said that somewhere there must have been his own shortcomings, which he could not maintain the faith. Now the reality is that we are not only defeated, but our defeat is also giving many more worrying signs.

Harish said that he still believes that there is no other party in the country which is capable of taking the form of Pan India and can present a strong democratic alternative to BJP. Some people are trying piece by piece. But all that is not in his DNA, which is in the DNA of Congress. But the Congress party is falling prey to a strategic mistake somewhere. Some such situations are being created that every time we are failing to win the trust of the public.
