Tears in the eyes, helplessness on the face, injury marks in many places on the hands and face. When the woman narrated her pain with a faltering tongue, everyone was stunned. Her husband wants to forcefully seduce her. When he protested, he was beaten with kicks and punches. Kept hungry for several days. Threatens to throw her out of the house every day. A woman resident of a locality of Sungarhi police station area narrated her ordeal in front of State Women's Commission member Anju Prajapati. He immediately directed the Sungarhi police to take action.
The victim told that she has two children. Husband beats every day. During the Corona period, when the business was closed, the husband made pressure for the body. According to the woman, when she refused, the husband started harassing her. He beats her over every little thing. Many times she tried to leave the house after suffering the oppression of her husband but could not muster the courage because of the children.
The woman alleges that the husband has threatened to kill him several times. He alleged that when he goes to the police station to file a complaint, the police drives him away. Till date his complaint has not been registered. The member of the Women's Commission assured that now immediate action will be taken in this matter. During the public hearing, DPO Meenakshi Pathak, DPRO Subodh Jashi, City Magistrate Rajesh Kumar, BSA Chandrakesh Singh Yadav, several officers of the police department were present.
