PM Modi France Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi was given a grand welcome in the capital of France, Paris. During the meeting with him, the NRIs raised slogans of "Bharat Mata Ki Jai". French Prime Minister Elizabeth Born arrived to welcome him at Paris airport. After this the PM went straight to Hotel Plaza Athnee, where hundreds of NRIs stood to welcome him, out of which one NRI asked the Prime Minister how do you manage to work for 20 hours a day, after which he just smiled.
The Prime Minister has arrived in France on Thursday and will address an Indian community program at La Seine Musicale tonight at around 11 pm. PM Modi will participate in the Bastille Day parade on Friday. The President of the French National Assembly will meet Yael Brown-Pivet and participate in a series of conversations with thought leaders.PM Modi's visit to France is for two days and he will attend the French National Day celebrations held in Paris as the guest of honour. This day is also known as Bastille Day. The highlight of the program will be the participation of the Indian Tri-Services contingent in the grand Bastille Day Parade.
