Bla Train Hijack / Jaffar Express train hijacked in Pakistan, more than 500 passengers on board

Bla Train Hijack: Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has hijacked the Jaffar Express train in Pakistan. More than 500 passengers were on this train. This incident has happened in protest against the action of Pakistan Army. BLA terrorists also opened fire inside the train, injuring many people.

Train standing in tunnel after hijack

The incident took place in Piroknari area of ​​​​Kutch (Bolan) district, where the train is currently standing in a tunnel. The passenger train was going from Quetta to Peshawar when suddenly there was an explosion on the track and then the terrorists started firing. After this, there was an encounter between the security personnel and the terrorists present in the train.

Contact with passengers lost

According to railway officials, Jaffar Express has 9 coaches, in which more than 500 passengers were travelling. Officials say that there is no contact with the passengers and staff.

11 Pakistani soldiers killed

The terrorists hijacked the train by exploding on the railway track, in which many Pakistani army officers were also taken hostage. According to reports, more than 11 Pakistani soldiers have been killed in the encounter between BLA and Pakistani Army.

Many injured including driver

Railway officials said that the driver of the train has been seriously injured in the firing, while some passengers have also been injured. Relief and rescue operations are getting delayed due to the train being in the tunnel.

Ambulances sent to the spot

Balochistan government spokesperson Shahid Rind said that there are reports of heavy firing on the Jaffar Express going from Quetta to Peshawar. Ambulances have been sent to the spot and emergency has been declared at Sibi Hospital.

Objective of Baloch Liberation Army (BLA)

BLA is demanding independence of Balochistan from Pakistan. This organization was formed in 2000 and has been fighting against the Pakistan government and army since then. Balochistan is the largest and resource-rich province of Pakistan, but the residents there allege that the government is exploiting their resources.

BLA's military strength

BLA's military strength earlier included 6,000 fighters, but now this number has shrunk to 1,000-1,500. Majeed Brigade is its suicide squad group, which includes about 100-150 suicide bombers.

BLA attacks the Pakistani army, police and government establishments by adopting guerrilla warfare tactics. This organization is opposing the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and has attacked Chinese citizens several times.
