Pakistan Train Hijack: Four days have passed since the Jaffar Express hijack incident on March 11 in Pakistan, but its full truth has not yet come out. The Pakistan Army had claimed the successful completion of the operation and the safe release of all the hostages, but the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) has presented a different story.

BLA's big claim

According to the BLA, they have killed all 214 soldiers who were in the custody of the Pakistani Army. BLA spokesperson Jiyand Baloch issued a statement saying that these soldiers lost their lives due to the stubbornness of the Pakistani Army and the government. He also alleged that the Pak Army ignored the 48-hour ultimatum given for the exchange of prisoners of war, resulting in the killing of the hostages.

Pakistani Army's claim

The Pakistani Army reiterated on Friday that the operation was a complete success. The army spokesperson said through the video released that a total of 354 hostages were rescued, including 37 injured passengers. Pakistan says that 33 Balochistan Liberation Army fighters were killed in this operation, while 22 hostages lost their lives.

Additionally, Pakistan claimed that out of the 26 hostages killed in the hijack incident, 18 were army and paramilitary personnel. At the same time, 5 Frontier Corps (FC) personnel were also killed during the operation, while 4 FC personnel were killed by BLA.

Who is telling the truth?

Different claims of Pakistan and BLA are coming to the fore in this entire incident.

Pakistan's claim: It successfully completed the operation within 36 hours and rescued all 354 hostages safely.

BLA's claim: They killed all 214 Pakistani soldiers and released only civilians.

Pakistan: Claims to have killed 33 Baloch fighters.

BLA: Confirming the death of only 12 fighters.

Questions on Pakistani government's claims

BLA has called Pakistan's operation video and official statements false. He said that the Pakistan Army had lost many soldiers even before claiming the success of the operation, but false information was spread to hide it.

This is not the first time that the claims of the Pakistan government and army have come under question. BLA is constantly rebelling against the long-running conflict in Balochistan and the government's policies.

Conclusion

It is not yet completely clear what is the truth between the different claims of the Pakistan government and BLA. But what is clear is that unrest and rebellion are continuously increasing in Balochistan. This incident has also raised serious questions on Pakistan's security system.
