Bollywood | Siddhesh Kamble alias Mahakal, an alleged member of Lawrence Bishnoi gang, told investigators that Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar's name was on the list of people from whom the gang wanted to extort money. A police officer gave this information on Saturday. However, a senior official said that these claims are yet to be confirmed. Kamble is a close associate of Santosh Jadhav who is a suspected shooter in the (Jadhav) Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala murder case and is well aware of the conspiracy to murder.Kamble is in the custody of the district's rural police in a case already registered in Pune. He has been questioned by teams of the Special Cell of Delhi Police, Punjab Police and Mumbai Police Crime Branch in connection with the Moosewala murder case and the threat letter received earlier this month to actor Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan.Many revelations about the conspiracy of Musewala murder caseThe official said that in his statements before the probe team, Kamble has disclosed several information about the conspiracy behind the Moosewala murder case and has alleged that Jadhav and Nagnath Suryavanshi were involved in the murder. The officer said that he also told about the future plans of the Bishnoi gang. He said the gang had hatched a conspiracy to allegedly extort around Rs 5 crore from Johar by threatening him.Gangster Goldie Brar gave informationAccording to Kamble's statement, Vikram Brar, brother of gangster Goldie Brar living in Canada, had discussed this with him on Instagram and Signal app. The names of a woman involved in drug trafficking and a doctor for sacrilege of the holy scripture of Sikhism were also included in the list, the official said. He said the investigating officers were still verifying Kamble's claims.
